Our Focus this week:
Goal:COLLABORATION - we will use accountable talk during group discussions, we will participate respectfully and value the ideas of our classmates, and we will listen attentively without interrupting when sharing our opinions.
REMEMBER to keep track of your weekly goal using the "How is it Goaling?" tracking sheet.
Math: we are finishing up our Data Management Unit. We will continue to investigate graphing trends and learn how to create scatterplots.
LEARNING GOAL: we can create a scatterplot and determine if it suggests a relationship between two characteristics.
Monday December 14th, Data Management Unit Test- Mode, Mean, Median, Bar Graphs, Histograms, Stem-and-Leaf Plots, Scatterplots, Analyze Data and Trends/Correlations.
Literacy: we will continue using KidBlog to share our Reading Response Reflections and our Random Acts of Kindness Journal entries.
Dec. 8- Using your Kidblog, post a journal entry about when a person has positively impacted you. What did this person do to impact you? How did you feel?
Write about your Random Acts of Kindness from this past weekend. What were your R.A.K? How did the person respond to your acts? How did you feel during and after completing your R.A.K? How can our R.A.K benefit us, our school and community? What are your R.A.K for this week and make a plan of how you will make sure you accomplish your acts.

Science: we are continuing our Water Systems Unit, focusing on Water Quality and Water Waste Reduction. Water Quality Mind Maps due at the end of our next Science class Monday December 14th.
Physical Education: Day 1 & 3 we will continue our Basketball Unit; practicing our dribbling, passing, shooting, pivoting skills and team collaboration skills.
Drama & Dance: we will continue collaborating with our dance groups researching and investigating the styles of dance used in your (2-4 minute) dance routine. Remember to refer to your Dance Smash Success Criteria.
Dance Smash Presentations WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 16th
Geography: we will continue our Global Settlement inquiry project. Remember to bring your resources and devices for Geography periods on Day 3 (Dec. 8) & Day 4 (Dec. 9)
